The PPM mouthguard is only available through a PPM certified Dentist.
Dr David May is a certified PPM Dentist. If you are a candidate for the PPM, impressions will be taken of your lower and upper teeth and your optimal bite will be determined during your first appointment (approximately one to two hours). Dr May will determine the best possible jaw position through computerized tracking of your jaw. He will use a TENS (Transcutaneous Electro Neural Stimulation) machine to help relax your muscles, putting them into their most comfortable position.
After the PPM is fabricated in our lab (approximately one week); your PPM will be fitted during a second visit with your Dr May (only five to ten minutes).
